The Pre-School Program at Études de Ballet is intended for students ranging in age from 2-5. Classesfun and enriching and designed to be energetic, expressive, and challenging  as children enjoy learning ballet terminology and dance basics in a progressive, age appropriate way. The use of props is often incorporated into the class as a form of creative movement helping to develop students’ physical skills and musicality. At Études we are very careful to teach developmentally appropriate exercises that will not damage growing bodies. At the end of the Fall and Spring Sessions, a recital is held in a theater on the stage.

Classes begin at age 2 with parent and child interacting together in a dynamic, engaging and creative class. Students age 3 begin learning to learn to express themselves through movement through imaginative exercises based on the beginning priciples of dance.  We expand on these same principles in our Age 3,4 and 4/5 classes adding elements of tap, jazz, and acro as they progress.
